Chan has been practicing accounting in Montgomery and the surrounding area since 1978. As a
founding principal of Livings, Lambert, Duffee & Mackin, P.C., Chan offers his clients a full range of
assurance and tax services in various industries, with specialties in closely held businesses including
medical, wholesale, retail, real estate and homeowner’s associations. He also provides services for not-
for-profit organizations as well as individual tax preparation.
As a member of the Kiwanis Club of Montgomery, Chan served as chairman of the Accounting
Committee of the Alabama National Fair for over 20 years. He is a member of Frazer Church where he
plays in the orchestra. As a former coach of Dixie baseball and softball, he now enjoys attending his
grandchildren’s baseball games and area dance competitions. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, and
woodworking.
Chan graduated from Auburn University – Montgomery with a B.S. in Accounting and received his CPA
certification in 1982.
Chan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of
Certified Public Accountants.
